Is there a super trendy food thing happening? Of course I’m here for it! I’ve been doing the ketogenic diet since April and I have seen great success. I really like it. It might not be for everyone but if it’s something you’re considering I hope this podcast episode helps you. I do my best to explain keto but please utilize the other resources in this post; they were put together by people much smarter than me.
In this podcast episode I explain:
- How I got into Keto
- Why it makes sense for me
- Foods that fit the lifestyle
- Going out to eat keto style
- Getting fit at home
I figure people are already interested in keto so I would share my personal experiences with it. If keto does not appeal to you or doesn’t make sense for you – DON’T DO IT! 🙂
Resources mentioned in the episode:
OMG LET THESE PEOPLE EXPLAIN KETO TO YOU!!!! Y’all, they outline it all so well. This is the real deal information about keto explained by doctors and scientists.
Here is a link to Keto Ruled Me (Ruled.Me) – It’s a beautifully designed website that outlines everything well.
Here is a link to the Keto Reddit – Check out the “useful links” in the side bar
This is a link to the Keto Calculator that I personally use
Don’t be scared of MyFitnessPal! Check out this podcast episode from a while back where I explain all things MFP. That ep is pre-keto though, so some of the snack suggestions don’t fit my current WOE.
