So, I listened to this last night and wanted to add something: Walter mentioned how he wished that ” Marie Antoinette” would have shown her in prison, being beheaded, etc. Well, if you ever have the chance to see the play (it was actually just produced in Austin too) you will see all of that. The play is a brutal depiction of what happens after she leaves Versailles; but also really helps you see Marie Antoinette in a new light. The girl really was only 13 and expected to rule!!! It gave me newfound appreciation for the story.
