You’re so on the dot about the nature of Facebook communities, and other formats before that–I remember mailing list drama in the 90s that sometimes escalated to impotent death threats over stupid things. Some people are so into drama that they should do their own web series or something. 🙂
I go to Vegas a lot for work (tech conferences and such), so using stuff like MyVEGAS and Wynn Slots helps extend the stay (and almost make up to my honey for her not being able to be there all week with me for the conferences). The freebies aren’t for everyone, and they’re not as easy as finding an overpass to sleep under, but if you figure out what’s important to you, and whether it’s worth the time or the money or both (VIP3 here too, representing)… they can be a great way to upgrade your Vegas vacation without Chevy Chase showing up.
